refined French influences, traditional-classical underpinnings, and a profound love for rock music.
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Born on November 3rd 1998, Matej began his piano education at the age of 8.
In 2013 he started to work with Professor Janko Djokovic with whom he finished his education in Music High school "Mokranjac" in Belgrade(Serbia).
Matej graduated from the Regional Music Conservatory in Paris under the guidance of pianist Jasmina Kulaglich.
Continuing his further education at the Franz Schubert Konservatorium in Vienna under the guidance of pianist Tamara Atschba.
He is signed with the Vienna-based agency TEALARTIS and is the creator of PIANOWORLDWIDE -
the largest community of piano enthusiasts with over 850,000 followers on social media.
Having made his first public appearance at the age of 8, Matej has since performed in over 50 concerts across Serbia, France, Slovenia, Italy, Austria, and Croatia.
n 2019, Matej Jovanovic embarked on a remarkable European tour, captivating audiences in cities such as Pančevo, Verona, Bari, Vienna, and Radovljica. His unique talent reached beyond the concert halls, as over 10,000 people tuned in to his live performances through Instagram broadcasts, making his music accessible to an international fanbase.
Fast forward to 2023, Matej was invited to the Music Festival in Labin (Croatia) by renowned violinist Edi Šiljak. The two artists collaborated on a stunning performance that included an official music video shot in the breathtaking setting of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
In 2024, Matej continues his upward trajectory with a series of concerts in Serbia and Vienna.
He has established an enduring partnership as a concert pianist with the renowned Candlelight Concerts by Fever, regularly performing at distinguished venues such as Palais Coburg in Vienna.
Matej's performances reached over 750.000 streams on Spotify.
